2013 is nearing a close and it’s that time to look back at what transpired.
At the end of 2012 I said that I felt 2013 was going to be a break-out year for me. I’m not sure that I reached those goals entirely but I do think that I had some break-out moments that are sure to carry forward to 2014.
Let’s recap some of 2013’s best race results for me:
-I was able to win my first ever ROAR National Title. Granted it was probably in the easiest class to do so but hey!, it’s a start!
-Got 4 TQ’s and 2 Wins at the Silver State Nitro Challenge. (Maybe first time anyone has TQ’d 4 classes at a major event.
-I believe I was the only driver in the entire Country to make the A-main in all 8 ROAR Offroad Nationals classes that I entered.
-Made the A and got 6th in 4wd Mod Buggy at the IFMAR Worlds!! Including a 2nd in A2!
-Many other large race wins in Pro Nitro Buggy at races like Psycho Nitro Blast, Fall Brawl, and others.
Now to look at some of my other accomplishments that I am proud of from 2013:
-I was able to grow my LutzRC brand and product line further. Looking to continue that into 2014!
-I feel I have an amazing fan base in this Hobby that continues to grow and i’m so thankful for everyone!
-Launching a new Worlds edition engine and Ryan Lutz edition Exhaust system. So my branded product line grows!
-With the help of those bidding, was able to donate over $1,250.00 to Charity this Holiday season!

For 2014 all of my primary sponsors are staying put! No changes here and I look forward to taking that knowledge of those products and putting it to good use on the track! 2014 will be my break-out year and my first big race will be the Reedy Race of Champions! However I will be club and series racing at the Fear Farm in early January preparing for the Dirt Nitro Challenge!
